It’s no secret that we LOVE I Am the Everyday Girl- Jen was kind enough to capture the moments at our first event and Jane always has the coolest vintage duds. We were lucky enough to sit down with these two amazing women and learn more about I Am The Everyday Girl and their amazing vintage store, Blouse.
What’s a typical day like for you running your business?
There is no real “typical” day for us! The day-to-day business side of things can find Jane waiting in line at the post office to mail vintage clothing or Jen writing a blog about her favorite vintage dress. Then again, our days have also found us having a mid-day tea party photo shoot, catching an afternoon Shakespeare matinee, or on a shopping spree for goods for the shop.
We’ve been busy developing and creating our soon-to-launch new website, which has involved a lot of coffee and photo shoots with some of favorite Providence everyday girls!
What inspires you? What inspires you in Providence/Rhode Island?
We are constantly inspired by the amazing everyday girls we meet, both here in Rhode Island and through the internet-world!
Tell us about your business and the idea behind it. Tell us about your shop and the idea behind it.
i am the everyday girl (dot com) is a place for women to go to feel inspired, encouraged and just plain loved.
Our soon-to-launch website will feature interviews with inspiring everyday girls, creative how-to’s, encouraging style tips, helpful advice from everyday experts and of course, a healthy dose of everyday girl love!
The shop, blouse, is where we get our vintage fix! We started our online vintage shop two and half years ago and have been matching up everyday girls and vintage clothing ever since!
